in the morning I'm heading out to RIT for a couple of good hours on the NRS 2 All by myself of course ! I over being sick it's time to get real serious on the training if I'm going to do any racing this year.

Been down a few days
This head cold turned into a full blown case of the flu or a over the top head cold ! Iv'e been down since Sunday morning coughing and hurting all over.I couldn't wait to get home from work yesterday so I could just get back in bed.I felt I would be ok getting the truck unloaded but driving a lets say a 70,000 lb truck in Chicago traffic and I-55 for 9 hours of my 13 hr day wasn't fun at all.I hadn't sleep good for two days from the coughing so I was wiped out trying to drive...But I can rest knowing the kiddies have some milk to put on their ceral in the morning LOL
Mike Jr is starting to cough to so he's getting what I have it's his day off from work so him and I have been watching movies all day like a couple of slugs ! Kind of nice not feeling guilty about laying around.
I'll get back on track as soon as possible ankle feels good so far !

Spinning again !
I've been back on the bike for a week or so and getting some easy spinning down in the dungeon,I have some catching up to do but I know I can't rush fitness.
Hammer is back on board this year and I'm trying to find out how to post logos in my sidebar where I have sponsors.I don't want their name I want their logo in the side bar If anyone can help me out please let me know how the hell to do it.
The big guys are racing in Texas right now and I don't think the weather went their way I hope someone post up soon to let us know how things are going.
Work schedual is changing in 9 days I hope I don't get too pissed off over my new runs or days off...I tend to get a little excited when they mess with hours.(pay)
I have a head cold trying to lay me up I feel like shit and didn't spin today I'll get on it in the morning and sweat this crap out of my system !

Trying to keep active
When you can't ride is a bitch !but some snow helped make for some fun outside with Cindy and Tucker !
Not the best thing for my ankle so I only made 2 trips down the hill !

Hitting the weights and I finally put one if these down in the dungeon Iv'e had one since I was about 10 but it's out in the garage.I put my heart rate monitor on to see what kind of cardio I would get and was surprised to see I can get it up into 70% to 80% of my max.The trick is lasting for atleast 20 min. to benefit from it.

Super Bowl today so I have tomorrow off work so I can stay up and watch the last game of the season.
